Pictures of the LG G Pro 2 leak out into the headlines! Surprise, surprise the G Pro 2 has appeared! The LG G Pro was once known as the Optimus G Pro. Recently the next generation G Pro has been making some waves within the walls of the rumor mill. Speculation and a bit of rumor have been surfacing about the device in the fast few weeks, apparently so much so LG decided to make an official statement about the device.  Unfortunately the company did not let the world in on any important specifics only mentioning the device is real, it will drop the Optimus branding, it will be ready for launch sometime in February and it is expected to sell rather well.

The LG G Pro 2 was just recently ousted by LG. The company hushed LG_G_Pro_2_leak1some of the rumor by giving us an official name and a window for launch. Unfortunately the rumored spec’s are still lingering and pictures of the device are few and far between…until today. This morning brought the world glimpse into what the G Pro 2 will look like. Pictures of the handset have surfaced on dcinside.com a Korean based tech website. The pictures show off the devices side and rear views. The rear view shows the G Pro using the rear mounted button set placed directly under the phones camera and flash while the speaker and grill are placed bottom left. Unfortunately the pictures do not show off the front of the phone to well and come with just about no additional information from the leaker. Oddly enough, this all seems a bit familiar with LG devices. The rumored spec’s stay the same as the G Pro 2 is expected to come with a 5.9 to 6 inch full HD touch screen display that will give way to Android version 4.4 aka Kitkat. Internally it is said to pack a Qualcomm made Snapdragon 800 processor and 3 GB of RAM. Additionally the device is expected to come with 4G LTE and LTE-A capabilities. In just a few short weeks however we should know a lot more about the G Pro 2 as LG is expecting to announce the device in February.
